God’s Solution John 20:1–2 On the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb—only to find the stone rolled away. In that moment of confusion and grief, it seemed as though all hope had been lost. But what appeared to be a problem was already met with God’s perfect solution. This powerful passage reminds us that even when we cannot yet see clearly, God is already at work. The empty tomb is not just a mystery—it is the beginning of victory. Where humanity saw death, God revealed life. Where there was sorrow, He brought resurrection hope. On this Good Friday, we turn our hearts to the moment when Jesus stood before the people, beaten, mocked, crowned with thorns, and yet presented with the words, “Behold your King.” The crowd expected a conquering king, but instead they were shown a suffering Savior. In John 19, we see the humility, sacrifice, and love of Christ on full display as He willingly goes to the cross for the sins of the world. This message will reflect on what it truly means for Jesus to be our King — not a king who rules by force, but one who reigns through love, sacrifice, and redemption. The crowd praised Him one day and many would turn away later, yet Jesus still came, still loved, and still went to the cross for us. This message will challenge us to ask ourselves an important question: Is Jesus just a King we celebrate occasionally, or is He truly the King who rules our lives every day? The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that temptation is common to everyone, but God is faithful and always provides a way of escape so that we can endure it. Young people today are constantly faced with decisions—some small, some life-changing. Whether it’s choosing friends, entertainment, attitudes, or actions, every decision shapes our character and our walk with God. This message will challenge us to think before we act, seek God before we decide, and remember that we are never alone when facing temptation. God does not leave us helpless in moments of pressure. He gives us strength, wisdom, and a way out so that we can choose what is right instead of what is easy. Tonight, we will learn that the question is not just “What do I want to do?” but “What does God want me to do?”

This Sunday’s sermon, The Everlasting God, reminds us of the powerful promise found in Hebrews 13:5, where God says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” In a world where things constantly change and people sometimes fail us, we serve a God who remains constant, faithful, and everlasting.
