Every believer has the responsibility and the right to grow into what the Lord has called them to be. We feel that part of the church's calling and responsibility is to help God’s people live this life to the fullest for the Glory of His Name. So that we as a local church can experience all God has for us collectively by cultivating each person to be their best for God. Growing is a natural part of the Christian life and our joy is to see a new believer grow into a wonderful Christian leader. (2 Peter 3:18)
Prayer Requests
At Powerhouse Christian Center Prayer is a primary function of our church. We believe nothing moves forward in the kingdom without constant prayer. The disciples seeing the working power of Jesus ask Him to teach us how to pray. Prayer can, as we know, change any situation asking the Lord for His hand on every moment of life. We hold several prayer meeting a week as prayer is, unfortunately, disappearing from our churches so is the Glory of the Lord. We count it a privilege and a joy to pray for you and your family. (Matthew 21:13)
Receive Baptism
The Lord Jesus calls us to be Baptized. We believe this to be a New Testament mandate. It is the right for all believers to be baptized. It is a public ceremony that testifies publicly of our commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. When we come to faith in Jesus through the repentance of our sins, we come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and baptism is the public expression of that inward experience. (John 3:5)
Counseling Services
Powerhouse Christian Center offers Christian Counseling to our membership. We help the body to understand our situations from a biblical perspective. We use the bible as the standard for our lives. We believe the Word of God to have all we need to move forward and obtain victory. (Proverbs 11:14)
Training Courses
Every year at Powerhouse Christian Center, we have several break out training sessions in various areas of daily life. We cover life issues like finances and family and other needed training. We believe that the church can help God’s people to reach the max of their God given potential. Through detailed and anointed training we can be trained to excel for the glory of God.
